A total of 60,000 visitors attended the 6th Addiriyah Classic Car Festival, which was promoted by Legends PR and communications company. The event, held from 4-6 November in Diriyah Governorate within the Riyadh region, is becoming a key part of the Kingdom’s winter tourism offerings.
Some 500 rare classic cars, including a Cadillac 1929, were on show at this year’s festival, which was sponsored by Diriyah Gate Development Authority and the Ministry of Sports. Visitors represented 13 different nationalities, including the UAE, Egypt, the UK, the US and Germany.
Legends mounted a full-scale media campaign to cover the festival, generating 48 press reports in Arabic, English, and Spanish in global media outlets including Al Jazeerah, Asharq Al-Awsat, Alarab, Argentina’s Olé, and AsumeTech. The company also arranged 14 broadcast interviews on Sky News Arabia, Al Arabiya, MBC and Saudi TV.
The promotional campaign included social media, with influencers on Twitter generating 3,958 tweets, more than 2.5 million impressions and 100,000 views. Legends also provided PR and communication services, inviting more than 50 media companies to cover the festival.
