Legends PR and Communications company led a fully fledged promotional campaign for the Saudi Technology and Security Comprehensive Control Company (Tahakom) during its participation at October’s 41st Gitex Global 2021, at Dubai World Trade Centre. The world’s largest technology show aims to act as a platform for companies to connect, innovate and forge international partnerships.
Having started out in Riyadh in 2015, Tahakom was participating at Gitex for the first time to demonstrate its prowess in the areas of public safety and smart mobility. It wanted to showcase its novel products using innovative technology in smart cities, including smart parking, a traffic safety programme, and AI-enabled CCTV cameras.
Legends developed a campaign to deliver all operational, media, marketing, and technical services, managing press relations and hosting VIPs. The company achieved 16 press reports in local and international media including Asharq Al-Awsat, Okaz, Sky News Arabia, and AMEInfo, as well as interviewing Gitex visitors for Al Arabiya and Asharq News.
It also ran a vast social media marketing campaign, especially on Twitter, using influencers and hashtags to raise awareness of Tahakom products, as well as creating social media promotional videos. The campaign resulted in 3,927 tweets, reaching more than a million users with two million impressions. The expected number of people visiting the Tahakom stand increased from 400 to 2,500.
